Lionel Messi and Antonella Rocuzzo celebrated the birth of their first child yesterday.
According to reports, Barcelona soccer coach, Tito Vilanova excused the Argentine forward from training so that he could witness the birth of his son, Thiago Messi. Moments later the 3-time Ballon d'Or award winner took to Facebook to express his joy: “Today I am the happiest man in the world, my son was born and thanks to God for this gift! Thanks to my family for the support! A hug to everyone.”
In honor of his new-born son, the 25 year-old sported brand new football boots with his son's name engraved on them.
*Messi's team-mate, Gerard Piqué is also expecting his first child with Latin pop singer Shakira.
