The 2011 Met Costume Institute Gala was last night and some stars dazzled the red carpet while other's fizzled. TRC looks at the top 5 best and worst dressed starlets...




TOP 5 Best Dressed:

Beyonce wowed the crowd with an Emilio Pucci gown. Although she did have trouble climbing those stairs and needed help from her husband Jay-Z.

Twilight actress, Ashley Greene left people breathless when she showed up to the star-studded affair in a Donna Karan gown. 

Simplicity at it's best! Glee actress Dianna Agron  embodies the minimalist look as she arrived in a dress designed by Michael Kors.

  

Actress, Elizabeth Banks shimmied and shined in a one-shoulder Tommy Hilfiger gown.

And what's a red carpet without a supermodel? Gisele Bundchen left audiences completely breathless with this crimson red gown by the late Alexander McQueen. 




TOP 5 Worst Dressed:

Ashley Olsen looked like she was ready to take flight in her Christian Dior Haute Couture gown and it also looks like her shoes might be a tad to big for her. 

Alicia Keys has lot the plot completely in this chocolate-brown Givenchy gown. She should have left that leather jacket at home. 

If Iman was trying to match her outfit with her skin and hair color we would give her 10/10 but wearing a Stella McCartney jumpsuit to the Met Gala just won't cut it!

A picture is a worth 1000 words: Naomi Campbell looks like a disaster in this Alexander McQueen original. 

The 81year-old, Barbara Walters looks completely odd in this green frock.
