There hasn't been a record Adele hasn't broken this year! The 23-year old released her much anticipated album 21 which has gone on to sell more than 3 Million copies in the U.K. alone, but record-breaking aside, Adele shows us a different side to her every time she steps on the stage.
Adele is a forced to be reckoned with on and off the stage but whilst performing her Etta James inspired love song, One & Only the two-time Grammy award winner got a little tongue tied and forgot the words to her own song. After instructing her band to start over, she gave a riveting performance that left audience goers wanting more.
There's no doubt that Adele has a voice that can hit you out like a ton of bricks but in a recent interview she revealed how alcohol helps her songwriting abilities. "I used to have to lock myself away in my house, get pretty drunk and write a drunk diary and that was the first time I could admit things to myself" the singer adds, "a drunk tongue is an honest one in my opinion."
Adele is set to release a third album later this year and has spent quite some time in Nashville. A town known for it's country musicians whether Nashville's 'country' influences Adele's next record we'll have to wait and see.
