The Billboard Music Awards turned out to be one hell of a night! With performances by Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. But it was the 16 time Grammy Award winning Beyonce who stole the show with as she was honored with the Millennium Artist Award.
Before Beyonce took to the stage, her fellow artists, friends, family and even first lady Michelle Obama warmed the room with sweet words in a video tribute:
"You are so much more than just a pop star or an icon you represent the dream." - Lady Gaga.
"She makes songs that will live forever...she fulfilled her destiny." - Bono
"Beyonce has made history and she's not even 30 yet." - Stevie Wonder
