Firstly the majority of nominees weren't in attendance not even the Millenium Award recpient, Whitney Houston. (I'm well aware of the fact that she's no longer with us, but why do award shows wait until our artists are no longer with us to bestow them with accolades.) Nonetheless John Legend and Jordin Sparks delievered a powerful tribute that had Whitney's daughter, Bobbi Kristina in tears.
I've said it before and I'll say it again LMFAO represents what's wrong with the music industry TODAY. So of cause they opened the show with a horrid medley that contained a dancing Zebra.
What was described as her triuhmpant return to the music industry, Nelly Furtado delievered a lack luster performance that left me wondering why exactly was she joined by Native Americans playing hoola-hoops.
I was left dissapointed by this years Billboard Music Awards. We needed a monumental performance, something that will be engrained in our minds for years to come but alas that's what you get when the biggest musical acts aren't in attendance.
